Microsoft 365 Solutions Architect
SharePoint, SPFx, React with Microsoft Graph, and the Power Platform. Fifteen years in enterprise IT, the last few spent replacing paper processes with software people actually use.
I'm the Microsoft Development Supervisor at iQ-Group Holding / iQ Labs, where I lead a two-person Microsoft 365 team. Day to day that means SharePoint sites, Power Apps and Power Automate, and more and more custom code: React front ends that talk to SharePoint lists through the Microsoft Graph API, and SPFx web parts that put those interfaces straight into SharePoint pages.
Between us we look after 16 SharePoint portals across four companies in the group, covering HR, HSE, Legal, Sales, QA/QC, Business Development, network services and fibre field operations. The forms behind them have collected more than 129,000 responses.
Before this I led research and software development at IQ Networks, a fibre-optic ISP. I was the sole architect of more than 1,450 solution components across five departments, built 12 SharePoint environments and trained over 50 staff on Microsoft 365.
I started out in IT support and systems administration in 2007, across telecoms, automotive and pharmaceuticals, so I tend to think about the people who'll maintain a system as well as the people who'll use it.
A few of the systems I've designed and built. Most are internal, so there are no public links, but I'm happy to walk through any of them.
A password-protected web portal that pulls the group's whole Microsoft 365 estate into one place: SharePoint portals, Power Automate flows, Forms, Power Apps, third-party licences with renewal dates, and effort and value reporting. It has KPI charts, filterable inventories and an "Ask AI" assistant that answers questions about the data.
A fleet management dashboard built in React on top of a Fleet Operations SharePoint site. Users sign in with their Microsoft work account, and the app reads and writes SharePoint lists through the Microsoft Graph API using an Entra ID app registration (client ID and tenant ID).
An online assessment for job candidates in English and Kurdish (Sorani), with an HR console for reviewing results. In development now and due to launch in late 2026.
A website for staff to find HR information and help, with separate access levels for staff, HR administrators, an ethics and standards section, and settings.
Portals for HR, HSE, Legal, Sales, QA/QC, Business Development, network services, customer support and fibre field operations, spread over four companies. Together they hold 137 features and links and nearly 1,000 days of build work.
A group-wide HR hub where staff request leave and travel authorisation, raise facilities requests and reach the HR and ERP systems. The travel approval runs end to end through Power Automate, Microsoft Forms and SharePoint Lists, and has handled more than 1,000 requests.
A tracking system for fibre outside-plant work that brought vendor management and field operations into one place, improving data accuracy and cutting processing time.
157 flows covering CRM, data sync, fibre operations, sales and dealers, approvals, ticketing and HR. The busiest form, a CRM support ticketing system, has logged more than 66,000 issues.
Set up a 3CX phone system on a SIP trunk with DID numbers, taking the project from configuration through to completion in March 2026.
SharePoint Framework web parts that add custom interfaces inside SharePoint pages, plus Power BI and web KPI dashboards with Microsoft sign-in that give leadership real-time numbers.
